Huh. I’m not a huge fan of rabbit, either, but the rabbit I’ve eaten has been rather bland.
The first time i ate rabbit, the host told us it was chicken. I was surprised by the taste, and suspected he’d lied. So, while it tastes like a mild meat that’s not bloody, i would not say it tastes like chicken.
If your rabbit tastes gamey I suspect you are having hare. They look similar, but taste very different.
This thread is making me long for the rabbit my grandmother made, ages ago, when I was a child.
