I would walk backwards when I was talking about things, between landmarks, but would also just stop fairly often to talk about certain things that were visible from where we were. It’s really boring to walk facing forward, then stop and talk for a long time, then start over. Most of my tours were to small groups (3-5 people), although twice a year, during preview day, I would have a group of 20+.
