Heh, gotta love the Gold Plastic Syndrome. It and “chroming” are the bane of collecting. At least ‘chromed’ items can be re-done if you’re inclined to do so. A figure made of gold plastic might as well be treated like an ancient paper document and handled in a similar fashion.
We GI Joe guys got it easier than the He-Man collectors, though. At least our figures can be fixed without modifying the figure when the rubber inevitably deteriorates.
