Thanks for the support guys. She’s still “asleep” but we’re tough and love each other completely. Matter of fact this is the first time we’ve ever been apart for more than a day in the past twelve years since we’ve been together.
The doctors don’t hold out much hope, but she’s already beaten them on three different occasions. They said her heart would fail and to make our peace by morning last Wednesday…at 10 o’clock they shook their heads and said they didn’t know how but she was gonna pull through. Then on friday they said the same thing again with her kidneys but she held tough and they started working again. Over the weekend her lungs had quit and she was 100% ventilated…today she’s breathing on her own and the machine is down to 40%.
My girl’s a fighter and we’ve got a great life together. The MD she’s battled with her whole life has caused her some complications in this tragedy but it has also given her a strength that few people realized until now, except for me that is.
We’re doing it one day at a time and while we’re not out of the woods yet, I will stand strong by her side and tell her just how much she means to me. A day, a month or from now on if that’s what it takes. I’ll never give up on my one true love. She is the best thing in my life and I’ll not let her forget it.
So my friends, keep sending me those good vibes and I’ll be back asap.
