I haven’t posted in this thread because it hits too close to home. My father and a neighbour were in a wreck. The neighbour died, and my dad was in a coma for five weeks. When he came out of it, he had brain damage that took away his judgement and many memories, and he had to learn to talk all over again due to aphasia. The medications finally killed him three years later. I didn’t want to say anything here because I didn’t want to say anything that would cause you to lose hope.
I’m posting now to let you know that I know what you’re going through. My deepest condolences to you and your kids.
I am fighting back my own sympathetic tears. I am so sorry. I send you my deepest condolences. What a deeply painful experience this must be. I cannot imagine.
