Elephants can be trained to paint pictures, though it’s debatable whether they recognize that the pictures they’re painting are representations of real things. But an elephant without that training will still enjoy painting, putting colors onto the page, seemingly-randomly. That might count as abstract art, and they apparently do it for no practical reason.
