My old manger was a male-to-female transgender, and was about 6’2". I’m just curious, are there any major health risks with someone who’s body has been so used to testosterone, who now receives large amounts of estrogen? Since such an amount of female hormones is unnatural in a male body, are there likely problems to arise in areas such as body growth, stimulation, and processing of energy?
I don’t know about mtf, but for female-to-male, testosterone can do a real number on your liver. A lot of ftms who self medicate can do some real damage to themselves if they don’t get their dosages right.
For a non transexual lack of testosterone does huge mental damage. I don’t know if that’s the same if you are transexual. I would be interested in finding out the answer actually.
