Translating Dennis the Menace

The girl was not identified, but she had shorter hair than Gina, and not in sausage curls like Margaret.

I’d really like to have someone give a translation into Russian.

“Вот, видешь? Именно по-этому ты не должен драться с девочкой!”

Literally: “There, you see? That’s why you shouldn’t fight with a girl!”

Спасибо!
(I only regret that I couldn’t add a smiley with a fur hat and handlebar mustache.)

There’s always going to be something lost because language is intertwined with culture. You can’t separate them and keep the original meaning.

I suppose there is, to some extent. I do the best I can.

A friend of mine who speaks Greek translated the phrase; I’ve transliterated his rendition thus:

“Blapis? Gia to na mi tipas anachoritzi!”

I did not think to ask him the word-by-word translation of this sentence; I am more familiar with Biblical Greek than the modern language. Any help, please?

True. The Klingon translation for the given comic should be something along the lines of “Damn, that girl is hot for you, bro.”
