I’m trying to place a graphic with a transparent background against a colored rectangle. Regardless of what graphic format I use (PSD, GIF, TIFF, EPS), I can’t get PageMaker to render it as transparent.
I know I’m saving the files with the correct transparency, as all my other graphic viewers show it.
Any ideas?
Pagemaker is a monkey like that. Try a different method of importing the file into pagemaker, IE: instead of file->insert or whatever it is, shove it into photoshop -> copy-> paste into pagemaker and see what happens. Pagemaker has got all these little quirks you’ve got to fool around with before you can get it to do what you want it to.
