Trapped in an elevator

I would keep the 9/11 Truther, because they can go on for hours with very little encouragement.

I would boot the anti-vaxer, because I would kill him.

I would keep the Holocaust denier, because I could kill them and claim self defence later. That was a difficult call, but on the whole I think they do the most damage - the anti-vaxer came in second.

I’d let the creationist go - it seems some people are interpreting this half of the question differently. I think they do less damage than any of the others, so there’s less benefit to keeping them stuck in a lift for a while.

I’d probably keep the psychic.

At first, I thought I’d boot the holocaust denier, but as presented, I think it would give the rest of us a common enemy to unite against. I’d boot the Truther, because I personally vote them as “most likely to sympathize with a holocaust denier.”

I’d retain or boot depending on how easily I could win the argument with them (not that they’d admit it). So I’d keep the YEC as there are so many obvious facts to undermine that belief, while I’m not so hot on Immunology and the like, so would boot the anti-vaxxer.

This would be my order too. The first 2 I would be entertained with and perhaps learn something in my own world view (I can speak spirituality and bible very well). Anitvaxer may have spiritual reasons, I have met some and that also would be interestingif they go there. The last 2 I really would have no use for as those topics are so grounded in worldly powers and too closed minded to be of any interest or benefit.

It might be fun to ask the psychic why they got into an elevator when they must have known it was going to get stuck, so I guess I would keep them. On the other hand, my atheism might make the YEC more uncomfortable than they make me which could have entertainment value.

I expect the Holocaust Denier to have the most objectionable world view, but at the same time the 9/11 truther would be the most likely to come across as unhinged. A tie there then.

I’d keep the psychic as the others would probably exacerbate my claustrophobia induced anxiety. At least I could have somewhat interesting and hopefully distracting conversation about death/dying, love and loss, spiritualism…etc.

Give me the anti-vaxxer, no big deal to me really.
Of all, I’d get rid of the Holocaust denier who’d make me most uncomfortable.

I’m trained as a counselor. Believe me, anyone is fascinating if you ask good questions. I don’t agree with a lot of what I hear, and I have a lot of practice not getting hooked into it. Bring it on.

I choose to be stuck with the psychic who didn’t know the elevator would get stuck.

Boot the Holocaust denier. Better yet, I’ll boot the Holocaust denier. Repeatedly.
