Anyone have any experience or knowledge of current conditions? My husband is a Japanese citizen with a US green card, and he wants to travel to Japan due to urgent family issues. He understands about the self-quarantining there for 14 days (not sure how or if their government tries to enforce that) but we are worried about when he comes back. Will there be any hold-up either due to Covid-19 or due to other immigration issues?
I have tried to follow this online and there doesn’t seem to be any problem, but I don’t necessarily trust local agents to follow what it says on their official site. One time he was taken off to a room for questioning for no reason except that he had had a green card for over 40 years. How can I get reliable reassurance on this?
