Is there any effective treatment for post-concussion syndrome, especially some sort of cognitive-behavior therapy?
Amantidine (a drug first developed for Parkinson’s disease, I believe) is seeing some use in treating patients after a concussion. A friend’s son was given this when it was clear he was having issues after a “minor” head injury, and they reported that it really helped him.
