Tripler? Care to make a bet?

I fully agree 100%. I’m taking heat at work for being a Devils fan, but I think it’s been an awesome series this year. One of the best that I can remember!

And Sue, I don’t want the Avs to lose to deny Ray his chance, I want the Devils to win so I can get my picture with the Stanley Cup.

It’s one of my summer vacation goals.

Check it out. I finally got on top of Sue.

Before being here in San Jose, I DID live in Boston for 2.5 years.

Oh and Ginger, Patrick Roy is god.

Sue, “Roy” is nothing but a mispronounced name. We shall see tomorrow night!

At least I can say “Brodeur” without special effort. . .

I would like to second that notion.

As warm and fuzzy as Ray Bourque’s story (and goatee) is, I want the Devils to pummel the hell outta the Avs. I hate hate hate em.

::still weeping over her Pens::

Crap . . . and I LIKED you!

Frickin’ Pens fans … always lurking, and never where you expected 'em.

[sub]Go Avs![/sub]

Congratulations to New Jersey on an outstanding year.

You can’t fight destiny.

Congratulations to the Colorado Avalanche, and to Raymond Bourque. 22 years is a long time coming.

Jeeez. My cable went out, and I just found out they won on ESPN.

Blech.

Happy for the ‘bridesmaid’, Ray Bourque. Now he can golf.

I’m a Kings fan, and yet I’m happy for Bourque (and Rob Blake was well, who was a favorite of mine with the Kings).

Yes, the whole Bourque angle has been overplayed, and yes, I’m sure many people are sick of hearing it. No, Bourque didn’t need a Stanley Cup win to “validate” his career–he’s a Hall of Famer no matter what. One of the best defensemen to play the game, period.

I also feel for the Devils and their fans, who probably were just as deserving of a victory in an incredibly hard fought series.

That said, I’m happy for the Avs, their fans, and particularly Ray Bourque. Great player, class guy (based on what I know of him–I haven’t met him personally).

The only thing I’m sad about is seeing the Hockey season end. :frowning: Not that baseball, basketball and football don’t keep me occupied.

Yep, XXL.

I cannot wait to see your picture on the people pages
