I won’t say whether your answers are right or wrong, in case anyone wants to play for the prizes - but nicely done.

I can’t listen to the songs for #1, but I can tell you this…

The extra band they want is the Fratellis, named after the villainous family in “The Goonies.”

Number 9 is absolutely positively

Atlanta GA, picture was taken just a tad South of the North Ave Bridge over I-75, I-85. I spent a good part of the my early adult life crossing that bridge walking to the Varsity and back to my dorm at Ga Tech

I’m guessing the answer to the 2nd half of #8 is this:
The great Pierce Brosnan hotel strutting scene from The Matador: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hj2BVb0xilc
But I have no idea what the first half is referring to.

I only recognize 3 songs from question #1

Goodbye Stranger – Supertramp
Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard – Paul Simon
Dock of the Bay – Otis Redding

I never saw the movie in question 4, but I’m willing to bet it’s…

Cool World by Ralph Bakshi

One more song from #1

“Home” by Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros

Another song from #1

“Centerfold” by the J Geils Band

So, I have 5 songs, but no idea what the theme or common bond is.

I don’t want to give anything away, but you may have to listen to the full songs to figure out the connection - but once you start doing that, it should become fairly obvious.

All the songs end with whistling
