Goldie Hawn was an accomplished dancer and even opened her own ballet academy in 1964 in her hometown Washington DC.
Emphasis mine.
In play — Goldie Hawn is Kurt Russell’s current partner. Previously, Russell was married to Season Hubley until they divorced in 1983.

The song “Seasons in the Sun,” which was a #1 hit in numerous countries for singer-songwriter Terry Jacks in 1974, was an English-language version of a French song, “Le Moribond,” which was written and recorded by Jacques Brel in 1961.
I stand corrected, Bullitt.

As a young musician, David Bowie was tasked with adapting the French song “Comme d’habitude” into English. His version was not chosen and the song became “My Way”, one of Frank Sinatra’s most iconic tunes. Later on, David Bowie released his take on the song which was “Life on Mars”.
In American Horror Story: Freak Show, Elsa Mars, as played by Jessica Lange, sings Life on Mars as part of the carnival show.

The M151 MUTT (Military Utility Tactical Truck), a 1/4 ton 4x4 Jeep, was the successor to the Korean War M38 and M38A1 jeep Light Utility Vehicles. It was produced from 1959 through 1982 and served in the Vietnam War. Although the M151 was developed and initially produced by Ford, production contracts for the M151A2 were later also awarded to Kaiser Jeep and AM General Corp.
Due to copyright and trademark issues, the M151 did not feature Jeep’s distinctive seven vertical slot grille, instead, a horizontal grille was used.
Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur, Democrat of Ohio, played a key role in keeping Jeep production in Toledo. First elected in 1982, she is now the second-longest-serving woman in U.S. Congress history, behind Barbara Mikulski, Democrat of Maryland, who retired in 2017 and is now teaching at Johns Hopkins University.

Some people believe that the then-new Willy’s MB vehicle now known as the Jeep was not named for the initials “GP” (general purpose), but was named for Eugene because he could take you anywhere.
The original Willys MB Jeep, with its designator G503, is an International Historic Mechanical Engineering Landmark. After WWII when Jeeps were sold to the public, they were designated with CJ, for Civilian Jeep.
Before he became a full-time musician in the mid-1950s, Willie Nelson worked as a cotton picker (a gig he began as a child, working alongside his grandmother), a disc jockey, and a Bible salesman.
Nelson has been playing Trigger, his beloved guitar (which he named after Roy Rogers’ horse), since 1969. “I’ve got to take good care of Trigger,” Nelson told Uncut Magazine in 2014. “He’s had a couple of problems. We’ve had to go in and do some work on the inside, build up the woodwork in there a little bit over the years. But Trigger’s holding up pretty good.”
Yesterday was the 8th year anniversary (of sorts) of March 8 2014’s Malaysia Airline flight 370 disappearance. The flight departed KUL, Kuala Lumpur International Airport, bound for PEK, Beijing Capital International Airport, but it the Boeing 777-200ER never arrived. With all 227 passengers and 12 crew aboard presumed dead, the disappearance of Flight 370 was the deadliest incident involving a Boeing 777 and the deadliest in Malaysia Airlines’ history until it was surpassed in both regards by Malaysia Airlines Flight 17, which was shot down while flying over conflict-stricken Eastern Ukraine four months later.
The Boeing 777 is a wide-body airliner – a type of airliner featuring two aisles in the passenger compartment, with seating of seven or more per row. Over 2000 777s have been ordered by airlines since its introduction, with over 1600 having been delivered, making the 777 having been ordered, and delivered, more than any other wide-body model.
In 2014, the Japanese government decided to buy two Boeing 777-300ERs to serve as the official air transport for His Majesty the Emperor of Japan and the Prime Minister of Japan. The aircraft, operated by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force under the callsign “Japanese Air Force One,” entered service in 2019 and replaced two Boeing 747-400s. Besides VIP transport, the adapted 777s are also intended for use in emergency relief missions.
Naruhito, the current Emperor of Japan, was born in 1960. He became the heir apparent to the throne upon his father’s accession as Emperor in January of 1989, following the death of Emperor Shōwa, and was formally invested as crown prince in 1991. He ascended to Emperor on May 1, 2019, when his father, Akihito, abdicated the position.
Beethoven’s Emperor Concerto is his fifth piano concerto, in E♭ major, Op. 73. It was composed for piano and orchestra in 1809 in Vienna and first performed publicly in 1811. It is the only concerto of Beethoven‘s that he did not play in public — because of his failing hearing, Beethoven, usually the soloist, did not play this one. This was Beethoven‘s last piano concerto.
After Beethoven moved to Vienna in his early 20s, he started taking lessons with Franz Joseph Haydn, often called the father of the symphony.
Haydn also taught Mozart, one of Beethoven’s early idols. (Beethoven had earlier made a visit to Vienna to try to take lessons with Mozart, but we don’t know if they actually met.)
Although Haydn and Beethoven would often clash and argue, Beethoven nevertheless dedicated his Piano Sonatas, Op. 2 to his teacher.
Franz Joseph Haydn is often called “the musician’s musician”, for his influence on other musicians, as well as his inventiveness and versatility. He was extremely prolific; however, the Guinness Book of World Records lists Georg Philip Telemann as even more prolific.
In more recent times, Leo Ornstein (1893-2002) composed several hundred pieces of music, although the exact number isn’t clear. In addition to being very productive, he also lived to be 108 years old. He may be the only notable composer whose life literally touched the 19th, 20th and 21st Centuries.
