William is the third-most common first name of US Presidents, with four, as noted by @Elendil_s_Heir. The most common first name is James, with six, and the second-most common is John, with five.
By contrast, there has only been one Canadian prime minister named William, Prime Minister William Lyon Mackenzie King. However, he made up for it by being Canada’s most successful prime minister, serving in office for over 20 years.
The current Prime Minister of Canada is Justin Trudeau, whose father, Pierre, also twice held the post. Both served during the reign of the late Queen of Canada, Elizabeth II; the incumbent is now serving during the reign of the King of Canada, Charles III.

Old Dominion University is a public research university, based in Norfolk, Virginia. The Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women, or AIAW, was founded in 1971 for the purpose of governing women’s collegiate sports in the United States. It rapidly gained influence throughout the 70s, due in large part to the enactment of Title IX in 1972. The organization held a basketball tournament from 1972 through 1982, crowning a national champion each year. Immaculata won the first three championships, while Delta State won the next three. The only other multiple championship winner was Old Dominion, which won in 1979 and 1980.
The AIAW ceased operations following the 1982 season, as the NCAA finally took the necessary steps to oversee women’s collegiate sports.
