He was turned over to US authorities after being identified by Nast’s caricatures, returned to jail, and died of pneumonia five months later.
The Boss 302 was a high-performance variant of the Ford Mustang, originally created to compete in the SCCA’s Trans Am racing series, and marketed to auto buyers in 1969-70. The Boss 302 became a popular Mustang variation among collectors and toy modelers, and the nameplate was revived by Ford for a new Mustang model in 2012-13.
