I loved that movie (speaking of Heaven Can Wait (1978). Imagine back then — the LA Rams go to the Super Bowl!! And they win it!!! In the movie, the Rams beat the Pittsburgh Steelers,
And of course, the beautiful Julie Christie (image, https://is.gd/T8N9Tj). I was in love!
Okay, in play — the following year, 1979, the year after Heaven Can Wait was released, the Rams and the Steelers did in fact get to the Super Bowl!! The same two teams in the movie. That was Super Bowl XIV, and at halftime the heavy underdog Rams actually had the lead, 13-10! Going into the 4th quarter the Rams (still!!) led, 19-17. Alas, in the 4th quarter the Steelers scored two touchdowns to take the lead and put the game away. They won, 31-19.
