Eh, it happens. I’ve had over twenty (ferrets, not fleas) in my own home…not all at once, thank goodness! I was, at one time, part of a ferret rescue group. Lots of fleas with newbies and I don’t like using flea shampoos too much.
I have to admit, it doesn’t sound good if there are no fleas or blackheads. Still, I had one ferret live for almost five years after being diagnosed with adrenal disease. He eventually lost all tail and belly hair and the hair on his back was terribly sparse. He had a nifty t-shirt though.

DeniseV: Glad to hear your fuzzy is taking his medicine. Yuck on the revenge poop. Nature’s Miracle is wonderful stuff! I buy it by the JUG but it’s worth every penny.
