Trouble setting up a wiki

I am trying to set up a wiki that runs on my personal computer (windows xp), but usable on the Net - there are a lot of variables between The Outside World and me, and I’m having a heck of a time setting it up.

So here is what I have so far:

  1. A dyndns.org account set up, with my router communicating ip changes to it.
  2. My router set to forward the http service to my desktop computer, with a reserved IP address, where the wiki will be hosted.
  3. Swiki, installed and running on that desktop computer. Swiki is supposed to be a Comanche web server combined with a wiki application.

I can get to everything when I access 127.0.0.1, but not when I type in my actual IP address or my dyndns name.

Any ideas?

I’m willing to throw out this software and try something different, that works, if it is free and instructions on how to run the damn thing is in English, not WackyWikiLanguage.
