trouble with moths - help

I have had white moths in my home for the past few months now.
They are small white or beige and they are about a 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch with their wings out.
They are perfectly harmless but annoying.
I found they were breeding in some semi open flour bags. My plan to get rid of them was to clean out my cupboards and seal up any dry goods that had leaked out of bags. Also, I have been killing any that I see.
I have reached a steady state now in which I kill about five a day.

I’m wondering if anyone has any permanent fixes that don’t include pesticides.

If it’s the same thing that’s happened to me, the solution was to find the bag of flower / rice / whatever it is that has moths in it. There is probably still a bag that has some larvae somewhere. They could be in more than one spot.

In my case I found them in a sealed plastic container that I had put flour on. I guess the container wasn’t airtight. Check everything.

There are “traps” that use a pheromone and work very well. They eliminate the infestation by stopping the breeding cycle, so you need to be a little patient.
