Has anyone besides my dad and I tried to take a sentence we just said and restate it clearly and precisely? For example “That was really cool!” Technically, it wasn’t cool in the sense of temperature, so “neat” is my next thought for a replacement, but it wasn’t neat as in tidy. . .etc. Simplistic example, but you get the idea. . .
