Truly Mundane, but it amused me.

This morning on my way to work I saw an older pickup truck with one of those magnetic advertising signs on the side. This is what it looked like, more or less:

Rodriguez Handy*
Man Service
REMODELATION, REPAIRS, ROOFING

*Named changed

Amazing what a simple change in format can do to an otherwise perfectly good sentence.

It reminds me of a call I got last year, wherein a woman called up and said, “Yes, I’m looking to get some parts for my husband.”

“Remodelation”?

So, what, they’re giving their Man, who is handy, a complete new look?

I noticed “remodelation” before “Man Service”, myself.
