I think he could be a greedy capitalist jerk that wants to maximize profits, and if that means keeping African-Americans out of his development that’s what he’ll do. It’s expedient.
Doesn’t mean he thinks African-American are sub-human.

I think he believes everyone except himself is sub-human.
Calling them “niggers” does, as does believing they’re all genetically lazy.
Well good, I’ve convinced one person. If he believes everyone is sub-human,he’s not a racist.
(i know Thelmalou doesn’t agree with me)
Calling for a ban on all Muslims entering America was racist as well, assuming you aren’t sticking strict to “races”. He is definitely Islamaphobic.
[quote=“Bacon_Cheeseburger, post:9, topic:917663, full:true”]I tend to think a “racist” as card carrying KKK member.

If that’s what you tend to think, then it happens that uyou tend to think wrongly. Try a different thinking.
I’m not sure what you mean. He is a racist but his hatred goes way beyond that.
Is that the “I hate everyone equally, so I can’t be a racist” argument?
No, the term is not being used incorrectly in reference to the curent president. As all of those quotes above show, he is, in fact, a racist along with just being a bigot in general.
And that is why such things get investigated. However, given the history of race relations in the United States, and especially given the history of how Blacks have been and currently are treated in general by law enforcement, there’s a high possibility that the person shot was shot because of a suspicion the LEO had based solely on the victim’s race.
There is no maybe about that. Each and every day, the current president does what he can to reinforce that fact.
Psst, @Monty, he took his ball and ran off.
Use statistics. If this happened once, it’s probably coincidence. If this keeps on happening, something else is going on. Using violence more often against one ethnic group is racism. If that wasn’t happening, it would “merely” be police brutality, which is still not acceptable.
Can you get back to my OP, and not hijack it, please? or go to your own thread in the BBQ pit?
This isnt what I asked for, I asked for specifica examples, not your opinion of what is a racist. I dont care what your opinion is.
He’s in a better place now…
In the first place, it’s not an argument. In the second and following places it’s “YES, he is a racist, and moreover, his bigotry and hatred are not LIMITED to race.”
And no, I don’t know how many angels can dance on the head of a pin.
To be clear, I was referring to what the late departed Bacon Cheeseburger was arguing.
It’s especially stupid when Trump says this about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Not only was she born in the United States; she was born about ten miles from where Trump himself was born.
Yeah like the Japanese who say “All foreigners are excluded, including whites and blacks, so it can’t be racist.” I’ve heard that one too many times.
I think almost all of them were born in the United States. And I believe there are white Democratic representatives or senators born outside the United States he did NOT tell to go back where they came from. There is just something about people of color that makes Trump think “they aren’t really from here”.
To be fair (I know, I know…), it’s not just Trump. My wife consistently gets “where are you REALLY from?” from her white elderly patients even though she was born in the US and has no accent whatsoever.
Are those patients racist? Well, yes. A little bit, at least. To me the troubling part about Trump’s comments isn’t necessarily the assumption that those women were not from America, but that because they were not from America they didn’t have the same standing to attempt to address American issues or criticize American policy. That’s way more racist, in my opinion.
And there’s something about women that makes Trump lose what little control he has.
