I’d call all three of those ‘facts’ into question. Bill’s meeting certainly wasn’t ‘secret.’ In fact, there’s no evidence of any of those things happening except in some gullible farmer’s fevered imagination.

You cite Occam’s Razor and yet fail to state the most obvious reason Trump would say this; it distracts from his own problems, and his followers will believe it.
The truth of it’s not relevant. He may not believe it. But it distracts from the Russian thing, and Trumpists now all believe that Obama illegally wiretapped Trump Tower.
That is the explanation, and is far simpler and more logical than Obama actually do it or Trump being paranoid.

It seems to me that PCP’s philosophy is that if you can take any Democrat’s actions and view them through whatever prisms are necessary so that they look immoral and/or illegal, then that excuses any Republican from anything he could possibly do. If you hear rumors of a Democrat jaywalking, than any and all crimes by Republicans pale into insignificance.
