Trump associates may have coordinated with Russians, according to US officials

We’re not paranoid!

This is a Warning to refrain from hurtling personal insults at posters outside The BBQ Pit.

I am not going to issue multiple Warnings for posts that were posted at the same time, but this is also not appropriate language to be directed at other posters.

This is WAY too close to an accusation of sock-puppetry. Knock it off.

If you believe a poster is engaged in sock puppetry, report the post. Do not make public accusations.

Those are not the correct lyrics. You are clearly no serious fan of Townsend and Entwistle.

Who?

I don’t know how you could claim anything else. Trump Tower was built by the company founded and made successful by Fred Trump. If Paris Hilton takes over the Hilton brand tomorrow, it’s still not her name on those hotels.

You know, Baba O’Reilly, of course.

This thread is apparently more successfully-persuasive than we’d have guessed. Clearly the crème de la crème (aka сливки крема) have been enlisted to derail it. What a compliment!

Elsewhere in the world, a Russian ambassador is Righteously Indignant at allegations of electoral interference–trying to enlist (or stoke) ancient inter-nation resentments in aid of his cause:

Allegations of Russian interference are ludicrous, says new ambassador – The Irish Times

Mueller is demanding documents from the Justice Department.

What part of Russia do you live in, again?

The (fairly obvious) point that he’s making is that those towers are named “Trump” because they’re trying to conjure up the well-known Donald Trump, not the completely obscure Fred Trump.

You can see it from Sarah Palin’s roof.

A Split From Trump Indicates That Flynn Is Moving to Cooperate With Mueller

Treachery and treason was last week. This week, its groping.

I miss the good ol’ days, when it was treachery OR treason week (and it was followed by Using a Long Word Where a Short One Would Do week).

And my far-right parents were convinced that the Russkies were the bad guys.

Todays Right wing take their direction from their cable news instigators and alt media hallucinators, and believe the enemy is anyone that looks closely at Republicans in high places:

The N.Y. Times has an interesting article: “Why Putin’s Foes Deplore U.S. Fixation on Election Meddling”. The fixation by American liberals on Putin’s alleged stealing of the election plays into Putin’s hands, making him seem more powerful than he is.

It’s true that electing Trump, who was/is obviously a horrible fit, is on America. However, part of why he’s not fit to be president is that he doesn’t think anything of coordinating with Russia. Cares nothing about the integrity of US elections. So it’s on the electorate, not Russia, for not realizing he’s unfit, but part of the reason he’s unfit is Russia. So it’s still important.

Sorry to break it to Putin, but this ultimately is not about him. What’s got sensible American people pissed off is the American Republican (lack of) response or anger about the whole box of shit.
