Didn’t he just have that high price firm look through 3 million docs?
Maybe something in the docs?

More like what wasn’t there. That being a solid basis to declare that attorney/client privilege applies.
I assume the reason the firm that went through all his documents is no longer willing to represent him is that they saw what was in the documents and didn’t want him as a client any more. Why exactly is still speculation, given that lawyers in general are pretty good at advancing their cases despite their personal feelings about their clients, so I would imagine if they don’t want any more of his money, there must be some real serious shit there they don’t want to touch.
A link between Trump, Brexit, and Russia:
I’m reasonably willing to bet that this will tie through to Cambridge Analytica.
This is completely incorrect. Almost no one gets immunity in exchange for talking. (You have to be a real low level guy who committed minor crimes, and have some juicy info.) What does happen is that the prosecution can downgrade the charges, and/or recommend leniency. But there’s a lot of room for negotiation over exactly what it is that you get.
Where you might be on to something is that apparently some lawyers specialize more in cases which go to trial and some specialize more in negotiating plea deals. But that doesn’t necessarily imply “flipping” as opposed to pleading.
Guessing Manafort will be in jail today based on this statement by Trump just now:
“Manafort had nothing to do with our campaign.”
His campaign manager. Had nothing to do with his campaign.
Sadly, far too many people will believe this.
Yup, Manafort’s going to jail:
Manafort ordered to jail after witness-tampering charges
Wait. Let me rephrase.
Manafort, Trump’s campaign chairman, his lifelong friend, his neighbor who lived one floor below in Trump Tower, is going to jail for witness tampering.
America, meet Trump’s “Best People”.
Haw Haw! Lock him up! Ordinarily I’m not a fan of locking up non-violent criminals prior to trail, tethers are much more cost efficient. But when you try to tamper with witnesses, you’re using your freedom to commit more crimes. Lock him up!
Sadly, Manafort didn’t end up in the horrific Washington, DC jail:
Paul Manafort sent to Virginia jail after judge revokes bail
Trump says his campaign manager had very little to do with his campaign. It’s like he isn’t even trying anymore.
You may write him here:

And, if you’re interested in visiting the guy, his visitation day is on Friday, from 2:15 to 3:15. (I assume this is for general visitations - his lawyers probably have more rights to see him currently than his wife does.)
Make sure you smuggle in some razor blades for him (for slicing the garlic; melts in the pan).
Maybe it stands for “Very Intense Prison.”
You know his base will eat it up with a spoon. Next up: “Luckily I realized he was getting his marching orders from Hillary early on so I cut him out of the loop, but I didn’t fire him so’s he could spin enough rope to hang himself.”
Well then I was probably wrong.
The “looking for a more sustainable budget” argument seems to be the most likely winner, as regards the Cohen firing his attorneys’ story goes.
ThinkProgress is reporting “Russians and the American right started plotting in 1995. We have the notes from the first meeting.”
1995, huh? Surely the Russians involved received helpful advice from the former Philip and Elizabeth Jenkins.
At my other board is a prominent conspiracy theorist who believes that a BIG REVEAL is coming between now and the midterms. This BIG REVEAL is something that Donald has spent bigly time and effort to uncover but the end result of his determined chess playing is a revelation that will either cement his status for as long as he likes or result in his impeachment before the end of his first term.
The poster doesn’t know exactly what the BIG REVEAL is but he has his suspicions based on his careful study of Don’s character and strength and his knowledge of the deep corruption lurking in the bowels of the federal government for decades.
The last 24 hours have been amusing ones on that board. I love Big Reveal Chat®.
Mueller could indeed come up with a Big Reveal before November that would result in Trump’s impeachment. You don’t have to be a CT’er to think so.
