I loathe the Democratic Party’s policies on many things, but that doesn’t mean I’m willing to hand the reins of power over to people who have a clear contempt for science as well as the rule of law. Are you seriously telling me that you would have your entirely family killed and you to be tortured until you die to let the current President stay in power? That you would let him drop nuclear bombs on major American cities? To invite the Russian Army to invade us?
“Whatever the hell he wants” is insanely broad, and it’s only by using such a broad brushstroke that includes such things mentioned above that are quite evidently against the best interests of yourself and the United States that you are able to justify supporting him.

Chuck Todd thinks Mueller will announce something “big” today. I’m skeptical, but he obviously knows more than I do. Is there any reason Mueller would choose to announce something “big” on Friday before a holiday weekend? Don’t you usually do that when you don’t want people to pay attention?
Mueller, being far less petty than I, presumably wouldn’t consider “just to ruin Trump’s Labor Day weekend” a valid reason…
He might consider the services for John McCain a valid reason to hold back.
I don’t think the idea was that it’s before a holiday weekend, but rather the final day of August. Apparently DOJ guidelines call for avoiding big political impact announcements too close to an election, and the preceding two months are (possibly?) thought to be “too close” for that purpose. So the idea is that if Mueller has anything to announce, it’s likely to be now.
