I’m thinking that Mueller is a straight shooter, and would release info, inditements as they are ready.
It is typical to not release such info so close to an election. And I’m of the thought that I hope he doesn’t. Democrats/liberals and moderates such as my self are plenty tired of trumps bullshit and will vote. I’d rather not stir up trumps base at this point.
Releasing information directly before the midterms would affect the election in favor of congressmen favorable to impeachment hearings, which would be a directly political act. As such, I think that Mueller would demur.
This is all presuming that Mueller is working on anything relevant to impeachment.
At the moment, he seems to be most clearly working on Roger Stone. I don’t think he’ll bother going after Trump for at least another 6 months. If he’s issuing subpoenaes against acquaintances of Stone, that’s probably because he thinks that there’s enough evidence to get (and potentially flip) him - meaning at least 6 months left to go on that. And he only just flipped Manafort, which means following up on any leads that he revealed and verifying that they’re not just BS. So again, at least 6 months for that.
To go after the President on genuine, hardcore criminal activity - not just infidelity or whatever - Mueller needs as solid a foundation as humanly possible. With Manafort flipping, presuming that he had the goods, that would probably be enough to go after Trump, but he has to do all the legwork to vet the info first. If he can add Stone in, he might do so if it won’t take too much extra time. But either way, he won’t be ready in under a month.

The KGB mostly targets idiot conspiracy theorists. That isn’t new and, if anything, is one of the best pieces of evidence that Trump has been in bed with Russia for a long time.
Note, for example, that Carter Page was completely useless as a suspect, in his testimony, by virtue of being a nut all. You just can’t take anything he says serious. Why not give him the crown jewels? No one will know when he has them and when he doesn’t.
