Trump associates may have coordinated with Russians, according to US officials

What I enjoy in this exchange is seeing that is not just the hard Left Communist Party adherents that can engage in the more and more tortured defense based on on the the party loyalty above all logic…

It is a good choice that the Republican right of the France took the route of rejecting absolutely the populist Putin alliance of the FN

DNC consultant did. And DNC encouraged her to do it.

And you have no objections?

Just to be clear, your proof that no such information was forthcoming is that Trump Jr. said that, right?

Edit: I mean, you rephrased “damaging information” to be “information on Hillary or DNCs criminal misdeeds”–a phrase that appears nowhere in the email exchange (“incriminating” is the word that was used, not a word whose utility is exclusively in the criminal domain).

Sure, it’s unlikely there was info on criminal misdeeds, since it’s unlikely there were criminal misdeeds. But it seems very plausible at this point that some information about DNC emails was exchanged at this meeting. Your evidence that it was a nothingburger meeting is solely Trump Jr’s testimony to that effect, right?

No. Why would I? It is not illegal, it may be “dirty” but that is how campaigns are run in the US.

Is there ANY politician who has gone on record as saying that they would have taken that meeting (and not told law enforcement either before or after)?

It’s seeming more and more like this whole thing was specifically done as a hit job on the Trumps. From the unambiguous text of the emails to now the Russian attendees coming forward with their accounts of the meetings. I’m assuming they also made recordings of the meetings, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they start to get leaked around. Maybe they need to get DeLorean’s lawyer and try to get off with an entrapment defense.

I didn’t see any mention of adoptions in that article. Hmmm… I wonder if Jr’s bad memory is once again to blame.

"There is no statute against helping a foreign hostile power meddle in an American election. What Donald Jr.—and Kushner and Manafort—did may not be criminal. But it is not merely stupid. It is also** deeply wrong, a fundamental violation of any code of civic honour.** - Charles Krauthammer

This is what most people think.

Any evidence of that whatsoever?

Trump’s tweets 15 minutes after the meeting ended.

Yeah, many of us were thinking the kompromat was the Hotel Piss Party or some shady deals with the Russian mob or something. And it turns out to be a fucking email chain. That’s apparently all it takes to humble the world’s greatest superpower.

I sure as Hell would be!

You mean his tweet that Hillary deleted 33,000 emails? Do you think Russians told him that?

The Russians told him they’d try to get them, he was obviously very excited about that and wanted to start a little buzz about the whole sordid affair.

Of course.

Frustrating, yes. Bewildering, not to me. He’s been in the tank for Trump all along.

Where does it say that the DNC encouraged her to do it?

It’s amazing that some take Jr’s word at face value. Like he’s trustworthy, and has no reason to outright lie to avoid the upcoming shitstorm. Yes, there is evidence: The Russians DID hack our system, DID spam with phony pro-Trump/anti Hillary “articles”. ALL for the benefit of Trump. Let that sink in…they were working for Trump for sure.

In the article I cited.

Bricker, of course, being the ultimate legal authority.

Time for a big Eeeeeeeyeahrite.
