It’s nonsense, of course. But the terrible media literacy that has been the hallmark of the right for so long started creeping into more liberal spaces 8 years ago and shows no signs of slowing down. Probably because it’s effective, but it’s still exhausting.
I’m sure there are tons of low information anti-Trumpers who saw one of those posts and believes Trump bears at least some responsibility. There’s even MORE low information MAGAs who totally belive Trump that this is all DEIs fault, but that doesn’t make me feel any better about anything.

NBC’s expert (Sully) said that jet liners are at about 300’ on approach to Reagan. Helicopter traffic is supposed to be at 200’ to avoid conflict with commercial traffic. It appears from video that the helo slammed into the the jet, which would indicate that they were out of their zone.
