It’s possible it’s something other than a bullet. Google NYT/Trump/Doug Mills photos to see the series of photos. They are on legit sites. it’s not a defect with the image or anything.
You probably recall that Trump was hollering for his shoes as he was being surrounded by the SS guys. Here’s a video that shows one of the shoes being tossed offstage, and the lift/insole flies out.
There’s a lot I don’t understand about MAGA, but what’s the point of chanting “USA USA?” I get it at the USSR/USA hockey game in Lake Placid. In any other environment, it seems meaningless.

As far as I know that was early conjecture that was never confirmed. I haven’t seen anything official about that and I haven’t seen any broken glass. If a photo was able to see a bullet whizzing by I would think we could see glass flying.
Could just as easily be orthotics.
I think he’s more concerned with his weird lean than with his height at this point.
I suspect that’s the main reason, but to be fair, it would’ve been a pain in the ass to walk around with one shoe until he can get his other one back.
Just a reminder that bullets travel faster than sound. He could be reacting to getting hit, and we heard the sound of the shot 1 second later.
Sure looks like at least 95% of his ear is still present in the photos of him at the scene.

On topic, I’d been wondering why no one saw the shooter as he walked from his car to the grounds carrying a rifle. I know that open carry was at play here but still it must have been noteworthy. And it looks like he was seen before he was on the roof.
Per Snopes, a bullet hit him, not glass.
Just curious. Was there an ambulance on scene already? Did they patch him up and fly him to Walter Reed? Treat him locally?
