24-26 the to cfo then doubled that amount to 360,000 so that lawyer a could characterize the payment as income on his tax returns, instead of a reimbursement, and lawyer a would be left with 180,000 after paying appx 50% in income tax. the to cfo added an additional 60,000 as a supplemental year-end bonus.
that is the conspiracy to commit tax fraud. the defendant, the to cfo, and lawyer a all agreed to this conspiracy.
The charges are serious. Trump better listen to his trial lawyers. His unhinged political statements could get him a prison time. He has to focus on his defense.
He really is going to die before serving any time, isn’t he? 
Probably. But from this day to his last, each day will be worse than the one before it. There is some karmic comfort in remembering this.
And I do have some hope that Jack Smith’s case may yield… a different approach. One you may find more satisfying.

Bragg is also making the point that falsifying business records to conceal other activities is a major component of their normal criminal prosecutions, and particularly important in New York, the business capital of the world.
Positive outlook: the long delay until the next hearing on December 4 just provides more time for further indictments for Jan 6, mishandling of secret documents, and Georgia election interference. I’m an optimist! 
Bragg is saying that some of the underlying laws are NY election laws (because a presidential election is an election of electors under NY state law, I presume) and also New York tax laws. That doesn’t sound absolutely unprecedented?

Georgia’s case is in peril due to the Georgia state legislature and Governor Brian Kemp.
The legislature has passed unprecedented legislation granting itself the right to remove a district attorney whom they believe is failing to execute her duties in accordance with their wishes. All that’s left to do with that is for Kemp to sign it into law – which he’s said he is planning to do.
What’s the over/under on the number of felonies that he’s going to be charged with? I’ll say 58 just to start the bidding. The 34 so far puts him in solid first place among presidents, with a 45 way tie for 2nd place with zero. Come on DOJ and Fulton County, let’s make those numbers higher!
This is what scares me. Just when I’m starting to feel good about the American judicial process, and the way things are going, the republicans have to throw shit like this and this into the mix.
Back to trump though. I have hope justice is served. I have to have hope.
This was just brought up on MSNBC. By keeping everything focused on New York laws – the falsification of business records in furtherance of a crime under (NY) election laws and tax laws it removes a way for the defense lawyers to get the charges dismissed under jurisdictional or standing objections.
