And that’s kind of scary. It almost seems like it’s his fight to lose.
I have 10 bucks that says he loses it at some point, and calls Hilary a nasty name, or implies she’s weak because she’s a woman.
My fear is that he’ll just keep saying more and more outrageous shit, and still pick up votes. This election will be a test of the American public, rather than of the candidates themselves.
He could say that she was the president in the Oval Office doing nothing when 9/11 went down, and he would not lose a vote.
He could claim that she gave a hummer to Kim Jong-un and not lose a vote.
ETA: We are in the post-factual era of politics.
I hate that we grade debates on a curve. “Oh, we expected Trump to lose by a lot, and he only lost moderately. That means he’s really the winner!”
We treat debates like the D-student who manages a C once did better than the A student that scored an A- once. Instead of letting it confirm that the A student is a better option than the D student. So dumb.
I disagree! So far Clinton has shown a fascinatingly coherent view of her policy plans whereas Trump has been an angry clown!
Oh wait, it hasn’t started yet. I’ll repost this in a few minutes.
