they did not announce who accepted the medals for Ruth or Presley, at least not while I was watching. For Presley it was a guy , maybe a nephew or cousin? Maybe Lisa Marie did not want to show up.

Warren Buffett is a public intellectual who has pledged to give 99% of his sizable and self made fortune to charity.
Tiger Woods gets his medal Monday but he’s the only one getting one that day. It’s OK because Trump found out Tiger is less than 50% black. (mother is Thai and his Dad was part black)
More importantly he’s a golfer, and, after himself and money, golf is Trumps one true love. I also suspect that Trump believes that by giving him the medal of freedom he can convince Tiger to endorse his golf courses. Or at the very least convince him to play a round with Trump at one of his courses according the the standard course rules (i.e. the rules don’t apply to Trump).
