Hell, the Republicans didn’t even try to attach it to another spending bill the Dems wanted, did they? Something that would pass without filibuster?

Couldn’t Trump have declared a “national emergency” at any time over the past 2 years, since the border wall funding was of such urgency? I mean, it’s not possible he’s just playing politics with the wall funding, is it?

What is that $5.7Billion actually for? It’s not quite clear. Nobody has made any clear plan, and without it, this may as well be 5.7B for a really nice backscratcher in the Oval Office. I thought it was supposed to be for the wall, but it wouldn’t get us 10% of the way there.
As opposed to now, when the dems have filibuster power and the majority in the house. Does that make more sense to you?
