I’m pretty sure none of the candidates could do that. The billionaire money they have is tied up in their PACs. But that doesn’t say anything about Trump’s qualifications for President. Unless he plans to make fundraisers a part of his policy (The Rally for Florida Hurricane Relief!) and his buddies will pony up for all of them. Actually, that’s a better use of all that billionaire money than making attack ads. Maybe the race should be run like the Celebrity Apprentice. See who can get the most friends to donate to the cause of the week and fire the loser. 
Interestingly it seems like the late deciders and otherwise unsures went away from Trump. They came to caucus … just not for him.
But the decision to dodge that stage was a great one!
