He’s long been known to have a tendency to be easily convinced by whomever talked to him last. It only endures until the next person convinces him to do something else, but that would be long enough to get him to do an incoherent speech.
I didn’t watch it, but I noticed that the CNN website had a running commentary from pundits, who were basically saying that there was nothing new there whatsoever, and it sounded like he was just reading – in a tired voice – a bunch of his Truth Social posts strung together. Truly, the man is an inspiration. ![]()

With that said, I don’t get how they respond positively to his “Iran war over in 2-3 weeks” message. Like, haven’t you noticed his 2 weeks means NEVER?
I’m surprised he didn’t close by saying “Thank you for your attention to this matter”.
He does make me suck in my breath.
Truly, the man is an insipidity.
My question is, does: “We are going to hit them extremely hard over the next two to three weeks. We are going to bring them back to the stone ages where they belong.” mean carpet-bombing of civilian targets?
The speculators don’t care as long as the numbers go up and down so they can make money. The ultimate outcome is irrelevant.
Trump being Trump, it could mean anything from “We’re going to bomb them all” to “Huh? Shiny!”. He didn’t value truth or facts even before he started falling into dementia.
