Trump's Republican primary campaign

The upside (perhaps) is that Trump is destroying the Republican party, and this should be encouraged.

He was doing a fine enough job on his own. This just makes it look like he has a point. He was a completely fucking clownish non-victim with his “they’re trying to silence me!” nonsense. Now someone actually tried to silence him.

The guy was a joke. He’s got his 40% of republican primary voter hateful asshole support, and no one else likes him. But you make him look like the victim, you make him look like he may actually have a point, and suddenly his support starts widening, and people start voting for him just to spite what they see as liberal hypocrites.

Trump is furiously masturbating right now as we speak. This is literally the best thing that could’ve happened for his campaign. The dumb fucks did their best to bolster Trump - not just amongst a narrow slice of the GOP electorate but among everyone.

The only thing I can think of that explains this that’s more evil than stupid is if this is sort of like riot tourism, like you saw after the Michael Brown verdict. People came from all over the country just to stir up shit, loot, and commit violence because it became an environment where that sort of thing could be expected. I wonder if it’s something like that.

I thought we were talking about Trump, not VanillaISIS in Oregon

Encouraged, yes. Interrupted, no.

But if this interruption helps his campaign, it could be a blessing in disguise.

Look at Trump, running from his rallies. What a pussy.

Are you saying Trump supporters are militia members?

Fairfax County third graders told a black classmate that his family we be deported if Trump becomes President.

And in other news, an IHOP receipt had “black people” on it. Racism is truly beaten if these are now national news stories.

Only because(most) bigots know better than to be open about it.

In a way, it’s celebrating jaw-dropping stupidity.

I think it’s more that the media loves racism stories and will look under the most obscure rocks to find it. and by definition if people aren’t willing to express it, it’s beaten.

That’s why the focus on “institutional racism” has value. Some minorities still have obstacles to fully participating in the economic life of the nation, but the challenges are different now. But turning minor incidents into headline news is not helpful, especially since the media avoids minority on minority racism of a much more violent kind, such as the epidemic of Asian kids being targeted for beatings by African-American kids. Wouldn’t want to report that, might inflame some people we don’t want inflamed. Stories about white people messing around with black people inflames people the way we want them inflamed.

What the article point is really just that old “insignificant” idea that we should always keep into account: “Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.”

An anti-Kasich ad running in Ohio has been pulled from the air because it’s in violation of federal election laws for failing to inform that the ad was paid for by Trump.

That is a horse-puckey point. It is in reality a plea for complacency when there is a lot to do still.

And World Net Daily is pointed as one source of that item about Blacks Targeting Asians, it is not as simple as the right wing sphere wants it to be.

If only our media was as vigilant about liberty, or even all racism, as opposed to just racism by white folks. Although they are getting better. Now if you’re a “white Hispanic”, you get judged as a white person if you do something racist. Haven’t read about more dark skinned Hispanics committing racist acts. Media won’t report on that. Too inflammatory.

And how is any of that different from how whites handle such things?

Come on. Look at what you’re saying. The media won’t report on something that’s too inflammatory? Have you seen any media lately?

What it is clear to me is that the Police does not agree on the levels of racist acts you think minorities are committing, you have to realize that it is more likely that once again some sources are pulling a Trump on you.

Levels of racist acts are low everywhere, thus IHOP receipts being front page national news. The vast majority of whites are not racist.

Straw man, but I have to say that I have a problem with many Republicans who are enablers of the less numerous racists.
