I did sorta the same. Right-click, chose “take screenshot”, outlined each photo in turn, downloaded the shot then upload to Google Image.
Reading more of the thread, a lot of my questions were already answered. You should see what it would take for your sister to disclaim her share, of course.
It collects info from all 50 states in one place. I found money (old EZPass account) from another state that I hadn’t lived in for over 20 years. My family’s name is quite unique and I found a few dozen claims for relatives based on first names and locations.
Ditto, and I found relatives I didn’t even know
Be CERTAIN you get very good legal advice before allowing her to disclaim anything. If she is receiving financial-needs-based disability (such as SSI), then disclaiming an inheritance is very likely considered fraud. (The Social Security Administration considers a disclaimed inheritance an uncompensated transfer of assets and will penalize the beneficiary by cancelling SSI, potentially for up to three years, for example, while failure to tell the SSA about an inheritance, accepted or disclaimed, can result in criminal prosecution.)
If the sister can’t have money, then you need to talk to a financial planner with experience in this area: a special needs trust or an ABLE account, for example, might allow her to enjoy the benefits of the inheritance while preserving her disability income, but much will depend on the specifics of her circumstance.
Very, very good advice!!!
