I know, elitist has political definitions (several in fact- it’s a malleable term), but I think it’s silly for a megamillionaire to call a guy from a single family working class home an elitist when the main thing “elite” about him is his intellect.

I can’t thank you enough for this. “Mooselini” made my day, if not my entire political year. I laughed so hard I thought I would herniate myself; it woke up my wife, who wanted to know what the hell I was going on about. When I told her, she cracked up, too. al-Obama seconds the notion of my distinguished Doper from New England proposing the Doper from Frederick by way of Saudi’s concise but pithy comment is being among the funniest in the thread, in large part due to the surprisingly, some might say amazingly, high amount of snark, neh- in fact sociopolitical commentary is not an overstatement- packed into it’s scant 2 lines and 2 character change from what is, in fact, the candidates actual bumper sticker, and move to vote that this be forwarded to committee to be accepted as the official “good anti-McCain/Palin sticker” of the Straight Dope Message Board members in league against McCain and Palin as proposed in the OP, and will in fact order three of them myself. Those in favor say aye.

I’ve always thought the good “opposite” ones would work in this campaign:

Republican for Obama
Gun Owner for Obama
Pro-Lifer for Obama

I’m not any of those things, 'cept for Obama, but I think it’s a simple and sneaky way to cause a stir.
