Hope that title gets people in here
I’m trying to find a cave that I went to with a family friend who is now long gone. We went there I’d say around 20 or so years ago, and I’m thinking it was probably around Pennsylvania, but it could have been anywhere around the New Jersey, New york area.
It wasn’t the Howe caverns as I went there not too long ago. the main thing I remember about this place is that right there was a small, calm, very narrow river that went though the cave system and around it. The river near the cave was completely surrounded by tall stone cliffs, with barely enough room for three canoes to pass each other. The river was protected, so there was no fishing, and the fish were teeming!
Someone put their finger in the water and like 20 of the suckers came flying out.
Any idea what cave system this might have been?
