I got an old PC from work, it ran Windows 98 but the hard drive was wiped (by me) with Autoclave. There’s ample room and speed for Windows 95 which I have on disk here in the house, but I don’t have a boot disk for it. Is there any way to make one from scratch? I tried using the old DSP Boot Disk from my 486, but it doesn’t seem to want to work. Is there any other option?
I’ve got a sealed copy of Windows 98 SE here, complete with License key which you can have; email me your address and I’ll post it to you, together with a boot floppy (which you may not need, if your machine can boot from CDs).
(alternatively, if you just want a boot disk, you can download a variety of them at http://www.bootdisk.com/)
Just emailed you (from my Gmail account), thanks
Cheers. It’s in the post.
