Trying to ID an actor: always plays bad guy, young, babyface...

There is an actor who has been working a lot in the last decade or so, I would venture a guess that I have seen him in at least a dozen different things. He does not play leading roles, he plays bad guys… but not mastermind types, just the big, strong, babyfaced motherfucker who will shortly be kicking your ass.

His face is very distinctive, and in my opinion the opposite of bad guy, but that is the niche he’s filling. He’s tall, well-built, with that Babyface. Young, I would say at this point early mid 30s.

Even though I know I’ve seen him in so many things, and that I see him regularly, I cannot think of a single film or television show to go to to find him. If it rings any bells for anyone… Help.

Ben Foster? He’s actually played his share of good guys, too, though the bad ones have been more high profile.

No…this guy is bigger, kind of a perfect circle face, very distinctive… And by bigger I don’t mean fat. He’s tall and well muscled. I’m sure it’s his body that led to his being offered those kinds of roles. He looks exactly right in military gear and wifebeaters.

He reminds me a lot of David "Morse; head shape, the small, distinctive mouth, coloringvery reminiscent.

Neal McDonough? He’s a good bit older than your guess (he’s pushing 50), but looks much younger than he is.

Nope… This guy rarely has very many lines. Not none, of course, but he isplaying the muscle 9 times out of 10. And I cannot believe that I cannot think of a single thing i’ve seen him in it’s driving me crazy, because I swear sometimes it feels like I can’t get through a single thriller action movie with bad guys without seeing him!

Don’t you just hate when that happens? Of course you are going to turn on the TV next week and he will be there big as life!:stuck_out_tongue:

Kevin Durand, maybe?

That’s who I was going to suggest, but I’m not sure if he quite fits the description.

Might it be Christian Kane?

Came here to say this. He’s been in a load of stuff, usually the bad guy.

Michael Pitt? He was one of two babyfaced villians in Funny Games

BINGO!!!

I KNEW you guys would come through for me, you always do!

“My name is George Nelson, not Babyface!”

Kevin Durand is the answer? You would honestly describer his face as “kind of a perfect circle”?

Well, I was a little low on the age, he’s 39, but right about his body. He’s 6’6" - yum.

But going through his credits, I realize I have’t seen him as much as I thought I had, he jut made a big impact on me, I guess.

Yeah, in my mental pictures he was usually bald or close, and in his IMDB pics you can see some pictures where his head looks almost Charlie Brown perfect circle.

I came thisclose to finding him by scrolling through my Netflix queue and a few other things, looking for movies I’d watched, because I thought I might have seen him in Resident Evil, and I did, but not the most recent one.

We aim to please.

Ah! Keamy in Lost! That’s where I know him from.
