I’m aware that the millimeter-wave scanners at airports use non-ionizing radiation and pose no threat to human health. But I’m curious nonetheless just how much power they radiate. I’m guessing not much, since you don’t even feel slightly warm when it’s happening. But is it comparable to what gets emitted by my TV’s remote control? Much less? Much more?
Just wanted to mention that most TV remotes use infrared LEDs these days.
Carry on.
