I’ve lurked here at the SDMB for almost a year, and over the past few months have begun to lean more and more towards subscribing. However, I was here through the whole Tubadiva/Stagemanger conflict, and like many of the posters here, I found the whole affair unsettling.
I know that Tubadiva’s suspension is going to last a little while longer, but I was curious to know what her status will be when she returns. Will she continue to be in a position where she has access to members’ private information? Will she be given a reduced role, or is she going to stripped of her official status completely?
I’m sure we will know when we know, providing those in the know want us to know, however, as much as you may seek a yes about wanting to know, the ultimate answer may be no because we’re not entitle to know.

As for Tuba, we anticipate she will return to her previous duties; we are confident she has learned her lesson. Furthermore, to repeat yet again, SDMB staff does not have access to members’ private information other than e-mail address. All financial info you submitted when subscribing is stored in a secure server at the Reader office in downtown Chicago. None of us work there, and if we e-mailed Jerry asking for somebody’s CC number, we would be told to get stuffed.
