I’m careful not to make accusations that I don’t have evidence of. So I just choose to observe a pattern where people start parroting Russian talking points and become active in Republican politics for no apparent reason.
Seriously though, I do believe there are certain tells, like talking about “warm-water ports” (nobody but Russia thinks about this), and the specific word “warmonger” which is what Russians spout while they themselves are actively mongering war. Then there’s Seymour Hersh who inexplicably dropped the very distinct Russian phrase “poor waif in his underwear” when flogging his supposedly original anti-Ukraine takes.
It seems to me this is part of the latest realignment in who makes up the base of each party. Republicans are getting the crazy leftists (Gabbard, RFK Jr, etc.), and Democrats are getting non-crazy conservatives (the Cheneys, Adam Kinzinger, etc.). It remains to be seen how this latest realignment will play out.
A wise policy, and I’m ashamed to admit my own threshold for accusations of bad faith is a bit lower.
To be clear, we’re all thinking it, and it’s most likely the case. But observing it without evidence doesn’t really help the situation, probably only makes it worse.

Democrats are not “getting” conservatives. The RINOS are simply anti-Trumpers who will return to opposing Dems after Trump is gone.
We don’t really know what, if any, realignment will happen in the future. If Trumpism continues to be a threat, Dems could settle into a comfy moderate position and pick off wobbly centrists. If it doesn’t, they’ll need to figure out how to engage with a noisy left flank that’s already demonstrated an openness to coalign with right-wingers to get their way.
It’s kind of ironic how American right-wingers claim to hate “the left” so much, but they’re doing more to enable and embolden it than literally any other American faction.
The radical right would make the same claim in reverse: “We had to go noisily popularly Fascist to stop woke socialism. You wacky lefties are our best recruiters”.
As to your complete contention I’ll suggest that the current position of the USA’s Overton window compared to any advanced democracy pretty well proves the US right is winning and has been for decades.
Which might go into reverse starting soon. Might.
