Can a car be made with a Wind Turbine, the kind that makes energy, or is it implausible because of the extra energy cost vs. energy produced?
It would make more sense to use sails instead of a wind turbine. This way there’s one energy conversion step less.
If you’re saying what I think you’re saying (ie, you have an electric/gas powered car with a wind turbine on it that in turn generates electricity when the car is moving) then, no, it’s not possible. The increased resistance you got from the turbine would require more energy output from the engine, thereby negating any additional energy the wind turbine put into the system.
