I have this officemate that insists on her radio being rather loud. She is in the next cube over, and I can hear the radio fine, but she still claims she needs it that loud. She is about 10 feet closer and doesn’t have the cube or the filingcabinets to deal with. She listens to Old-Lady-AM-Talk-Radio all day long. Does anyone know any kind of device that will generally disable an AM radio? I can get something within 6 feet of the radio, it’s a cheap clockradio, and has a 2-prong plug. If I hear one more yenta bitch about a restaurant review or hear one more rambling by Gambling I’ll freak.

She is an odd cow-orker. She has been known to:

  1. Card men taking her on dates.
  2. Have yelling arguments on the phone with her ex-roomate.
  3. Listen to Old-Lady-AM-Talk-Radio all day long and she is -maybe- 35.

Smashing the radio does not count- I was thinking of something along the lines of a device that would put out enough RF to disrupt the broadcast for 5-10 feet.

Um… yes, I, I, I told Bill that if, um, Sandra was going to listen to headphones while she’s filing, that um, I should be able to listen to the radio while I’m collating, at um a reasonable volume…
