Turnip greens

isn’t pretty much the entire plant edible? ISTR the flowers are sometimes used as a garnish.

and yeah, I’d call the flavor of the leaves to be “peppery apple-like.”

Bush’s (the baked bean people) sell plain turnip greens. You should be able to find the with the other canned greens at Kroger or H.E.B.

You can order online too.

Not thread-shitting (because, really, you guys can eat whatever you want without my input) but really wanted to note that I honestly had no idea that canned turnip greens were even a thing before this thread. You learn something every day!

Ya ain’t from 'round here, are ya, son?

Found themWal~Mart after an hour drive around and around this little town******

We have Publix brand, Winn-Dixie brand, Bush’s and a few others. OK, this is Florida. I like the whole myself, but chopped is way more ubiquitous. There are many frozen and fresh varieties, but I think you said canned is what you want.

I have had GREAT success talking to my store manager about other products. Just tell the manager what you’ve searched for, and could not find. :frowning: Look sad. Follow up by buying the product if it begins appearing on the shelf. Tell the manager ‘thanks.’
